With what could be over 200,000 people making their way to Las Vegas for CES, getting around a bit of a challenge. From the nightmare traffic jams on Paradise to the hordes of people trying to make it from the strip to the convention center, your bound to hit traffic during the Consumer Electronics Show.
CES Shuttle Buses
Your best option is to jump on one of the hundreds of free shuttle buses that travel between the Strip Hotels and the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Las Vegas offers a variety of transportation options during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), catering to the needs of attendees and exhibitors. Here’s an overview of the available services:
The Las Vegas Monorail is an efficient way to travel between the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC), Westgate, and various hotels on the Strip, including Bally’s, Flamingo, Harrah’s/LINQ, MGM Grand, and Sahara. However, it does not service the Venetian Expo. For that, there’s a complimentary Tech Express shuttle available.
Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are widely available. These services have designated pickup locations at CES venues and most hotels. It’s essential to pay attention to in-app messages for specific pickup instructions.
Pickup Locations:
ARIA: North Valet
LVCC: Diamond Lot next to West Hall
Venetian Expo: Main porte-cochere on Sands Ave
Venetian Hotel: Valet area in parking garage
Westgate: Sportsbook Entrance
Taxis are readily available, with lines at the LVCC, West, and North Halls, and other show venues. During peak hours, especially at the close of the show, taxi lines can be long. Alternative options include free CES shuttles or the Las Vegas Monorail.
Public parking is available at the LVCC in the Bronze lot for $10 per day. Other CES venues also offer parking in their respective hotel garages.
Passenger vehicles can pick up or drop off passengers at the LVCC South Hall via Paradise Road next to the Renaissance Hotel or at the West Hall entrances off Convention Center Drive. Note that drivers must remain with their vehicles as no standing or parking is permitted.
The Vegas Loop, including the LVCC Loop and the extension to the Resorts World hotel, is a new addition. The LVCC Loop offers a free, quick two-minute trip across the LVCC campus, linking the West Hall with Central and South Halls. The Vegas Loop Resorts World extension connects Resorts World directly with the LVCC West Hall for a small fare.
Each of these options provides a convenient way to navigate the bustling atmosphere of CES in Las Vegas, ensuring attendees can focus on the event rather than transportation worries.
